The federal complaint, filed by none other than Patrick Fitzgerald (of Plame/Libby fame), is delightfully long and expletive-ridden, including the observation from Blago that a Senate seat “is a f—-ing valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing.” Prosecutors also allege that Blago screwed over the Tribune Company and accepted many a bribe during the course of his tenure. It is a new dawn for Chicago politics.
