Kim Cattrall Just Shut Down The Rumor That She Is A Diva And Made It Clear That She's Not Here For Sarah Jessica Parker

Put down that cosmo, 'cause it's time for some piping hot tea!

So, as you're probably already aware, last week came news that the long-awaited third Sex and the City film had been officially canceled.

Originally the Daily Mail reported that Kim Cattrall was the reason that the film was derailed, due to her "outrageous demands."

While Kim tweeted out this response about the article being wrong (along with retweeting a few tweets that supported her decision), she didn't really address a reason why she chose not to do the film. That is until today...

Kim recently sat down for an interview with Piers Morgan for his ITV series Life Stories, to talk about what happened, and, boy, she didn't hold back.

Kim told Piers that not only did she not make demands, she NEVER ever even considered doing the film, saying:

I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects; to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous.

I remember so clearly making that decision and last December, I got a phone call and it was concerning that and I knew exactly, I could feel it, and the answer was simply, "Thank you, but no, I’m good."

This isn’t about more money, this is not about more scenes, it’s not about any of those things. This is about a clear decision, an empowered decision in my life to end one chapter and start another. I’m 61. It’s now.

She also took a shot at Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker, over her handling of the situation, saying:

I don’t feel like a victim, I feel like I came out of this on top. This has given me a fantastic platform. Sarah Jessica, she could have been nicer, she could have in some way. I don’t know what her issue is, I never have.

YUP! Kim is clearly over it and not afraid to call Sarah Jessica out.

And as far as her ever portraying Samantha Jones again, Kim made it pretty clear:

Me playing her, that I can assure you will never happen. For me it’s over, it’s over with no regrets. I just wish that Sarah had been nicer.

Well, now that SATC 3 is not happening, maybe Sarah Jessica can put her effort into getting the sequel we all really WANT TO SEE off the ground: Hocus Pocus 2!
