Incredible Rare Color Footage Of Disneyland In 1955

This retro footage, put together by together by DisneyHistory, gives an unfiltered glimpse into what the park was really like during it’s first year.

DisneyHistory has edited together clips from a dozen home movies, all shot during the first five months that Disneyland was open, to present what the park was really like for guests.

Also, as the site points out, there a few strange things to look out for in the video, including Hollywood Maxwell’s Intimate Apparel, a lingerie shop located on Main Street (at the 1:20 mark) and organ grinder performing with his monkey (at the 1:29 mark):
