....or through watching the vacation planning video (that your parents got sent free in the mail).

.Talking long distance with relatives on Sundays 'cause the rates were cheaper.
.Taking one or two photos (the "just in case photo") of something because you were limited to 24 frames in a roll of film (and it cost money to print them out).

.Having to have your parents call the cable company directly if you wanted to order a pay-per-view movie.
.Having to write down all your friends’ or family’s phone numbers on an enormous list (it was either that or memorizing them all).
.Having to find a payphone if you were out somewhere and needed to call your parents to come pick you up.
.Having to look up old magazine and newspaper articles on microfiche.
.Having to look up a book in the library through the card catalog.
.Calling a local service number to find out EXACTLY what time it was (if you needed to set a clock for example).
.Leaving messages on your friends' parents' answering machines — and hoping they actually got them.
.Calling your local video store to see if they still had copies of a movie or video game (before asking your parents to drive you down there).
.Ordering things through catalogs.
.Entering contests through the mail.

.And finally, ONLY being able to see new movie trailers at the actual movies.
