If you haven't seen The Last Jedi yet, FAIR WARNING, this is a mild spoiler. And if you want to go into Episode VIII as blind as Luke Skywalker in his blast shield helmet...
Now, if you HAVE seen The Last Jedi and you stuck around for the end credits, you probably saw a few fun easter eggs, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt's name as a character named Slowen Lo.
And, in case you're wondering who that was, he was the alien on the Canto Bight beach that ratted out Finn and Rose to the police.
Slowen Lo actually has a pretty funny backstory, too. According to Star Wars: The Last Jedi — The Visual Dictionary:
Canto Bight local Slowen Lo has made a fortune selling driftwood sculptures, and now owns a beachside residence.
Somewhat ironically, he also has "surgical implant lenses (to) amplify failing eyesight."
If you recall, Slowen Lo's voice had a kind of, for lack of a better description, Jersey accent — i.e. it was very reminiscent of Gordon-Levitt's accent in Don Jon. Sample here:

So, if you didn't recognize Gordon-Levitt's voice that is 110% understandable (because literally almost no one did).
On another fun note, this also means Joseph Gordon-Levitt has now appeared in all of Rian Johnson's feature films, thus continuing a beautiful collaboration.
The only question left now is if Gordon-Levitt will have a cameo in Johnson's new Star Wars universe film trilogy?!
