CNN Contributor Bizarrely Trashes #BringBackOurGirls While Discussing Monica Lewinsky

Things get heated during a CNN conversation about Monica Lewinsky.

A CNN segment that was supposed to be focused on Monica Lewinsky's return to the media landscape took a bizarre turn when commentator Will Cain attempted to equate the story with what he called, "cheap hashtag activism."

"This is consistent. We do cheap outrage on TV, cheap hashtag activism when it comes to the girls with Boko Haram, and this is cheap. She [Monica Lewisnky] has been a cheap punchline for too long ... I'm telling you, putting a tweet up with a hashtag on it, you didn't do your duty today."

CNN's Don Lemon took offense to Cain's statement and assumed Cain was talking about Michelle Obama's tweet.

"That's disgusting to say about over 200 girls — what do you expect the First Lady to do?" Lemon asked him.

"I didn't say anything about the First Lady. You did," Cain shot back.
