Khloé Kardashian No Longer Wants A Relationship With Caitlyn Jenner

The latest episode of KUWTK showed the extent to which relations have broken down.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians returned this weekend for its 12th season, with a focus on the breakdown of Khloé's relationship with Caitlyn Jenner.

Khloé revealed that Caitlyn had been sending her "aggressive" text messages after she gave an interview in which she discussed Caitlyn's transition.

In the interview, Khloé repeated several comments that she's made before – mainly that she believes Caitlyn wasn't honest with the family about the extent of her desire to transition.

She said:

We felt betrayed because more businesspeople knew. I never want someone to feel like they have a one-up on our family. We've never turned our backs on each other with all the clusterfucks of shit in our lives, so why would we now? He never said he was going to transition. He would just say his soul has always been a woman. Bruce made it a point for all of us to watch Diane Sawyer together, and that's the first time we heard a lot of things. We didn't even know about Diane Sawyer until it was taped and done. On that show is when we genuinely found out about transitioning.

She continued: "If Caitlyn were to actually listen to my interview, she would know that nothing bad or harmful was said."

Khloé called Kris Jenner to tell her about the argument with Caitlyn.

Khloé revealed that Caitlyn had been angry about the interview, and told her that family should "stick together."

As a result of this comment, Khloé brought up Caitlyn's now infamous Vanity Fair article in which she claimed she was "mistreated" by Kris and that the reason for their divorce was "20% gender-related and 80% Kris's fault."

Khloé commented: "I said, 'You slaughtered my mother and you have the nerve to speak about families sticking together? You jumped that ship as soon as you did Diane Sawyer and attacked my mom.' But instead she tells me to get a life and to shut up, and I'm like, 'No, you shut up and you get a fucking life.'"

It's not the first time Khloé has mentioned that she no longer feels she has a relationship with Caitlyn.

During a conversation with Kim shortly after the Vanity Fair profile came out, Khloé said: "I don't know this person anymore. Bruce is gone and I don't know Caitlyn. Simple as that. I don't mind talking to her, but it's not a real relationship anymore."

Kris took it upon herself to try and mediate the situation by speaking to Caitlyn.

Kris explained: "I don't think Khloé would ever say anything to intentionally hurt anybody, and everybody just has to understand that sometimes things are misinterpreted."

But during the call, Caitlyn was still incredibly angry.

Caitlyn said that Khloé should have dismissed the interviewer's question about her immediately. She said: "She should say, 'I don't want to talk about that. Caitlyn's doing great, I've never seen her happier, next question.'"

But this comment from Kris was met with anger too.

But then Kris lashed out, comparing the situation with Caitlyn's Vanity Fair profile.

Caitlyn responded: "Nothing was said that was terrible in that Vanity Fair article." Kris disagreed, saying: "All you said was negative shit, so now you know how I feel."

But by far the most heartbreaking part was Kris crying as she said: "You were her dad since she was 5 years old. Give her a break."

The conversation ended with little resolution.

The conversation wasn't dissimilar to the one between Caitlyn and Kris when they met for the first time since the transition.

Kris addressed the Vanity Fair profile by saying: “You’re sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life, but you’re just not sensitive and amazing to the family you left behind. When you feel like you gave your whole life to somebody, and the sum of it all was you were a distraction."

As well as the conversation Khloé had with her about the Vanity Fair article.

She said: “Caitlyn is allowed to have her own feelings, but she’s very one-sided and I don’t think that's fair. There’s so much I could say but it’s a losing battle and I’m just over it. At the end of the day, some things Cait will never understand and I don’t want to fight anymore.”

And the one she had with Kim, who warned Caitlyn she could be on the verge of losing her family.

She said: “You’ve got the fame but you’re losing your family. You look amazing. It’s your time, but you don’t have to bash us on the way up.”

But, interestingly, after each conversation – including the most recent phone call with Kris – Caitlyn appears to have stuck by her comments.

She said: “I hear that certain family members are upset with the Vanity Fair article. You can’t please everybody and obviously there are some people in my family that I didn’t please. It was an honest article and sometimes when you’re being honest it can be upsetting to some people. Is everybody including Kris reading too much into every little word that’s out there?”

But the saddest part of all is that Khloé doesn't remember a time when Caitlyn wasn't in her life – and they've always had an extremely close relationship.

So let's just hope this incident isn't the final straw, and that Caitlyn and Khloé find a way to make things up.
