It's Been Over A Decade Since "A Cinderella Story" Was Released And Here's What The Cast Are Up To

Who could forget Princeton Girl and Nomad?

I can’t believe it’s already been 14 years since A Cinderella Story was released and Hilary Duff delivered us this gem of a line.

Hilary Duff as Sam Montgomery

Since 2015, Duff has been a main cast member on the TV series Younger and is making her big screen return this year with the indie film The Haunting of Sharon Tate. She’s also expecting her second child with boyfriend, Matthew Koma.

Chad Michael Murray as Austin Ames

Chad Michael Murray starred in the 2017 TV series Sun Records and the made-for-television film The Beach House earlier this year. He’s also set to star in the upcoming horror movie Camp Cold Brook later this year (and he posted this One Tree Hill throwback on Instagram in March).

Whip Hubley as Hal Montgomery

Although his character dies early on in the film, Whip Hubley’s character, Hal, plays an important part in the film. Since A Cinderella Story, he has gone on to star in the 2009 film Homeland, the short film Mark in Argentina, as well as the 2013 thriller Drones.

Jennifer Coolidge as Fiona

Aside from playing Sam’s wicked-stepmother Fiona, Jennifer Coolidge has been a regular for the past five years on the TV show 2 Broke Girls until its cancellation in 2017. She’s also done voice work for The Emoji Movie, American Dad!, and The Loud House.

Regina King as Rhonda

Since the movie, Regina King has starred in American Crime and The Leftovers, and directed episodes of Shameless and This Is Us. In 2017, she starred in the Netflix crime-drama Seven Seconds. She’s also set to star in the HBO-series Watchmen, based off the DC comic of the same name.

Dan Byrd as Carter Ferrell

Aside from appearances in Easy A, Scandal and Sisters, Byrd recently starred in the made-for-television film Doomsday in 2017.

Madeline Zima as Brianna

Madeline played ½ of Sam’s evil stepsisters. Recently, she appeared in Twin Peaks and is set to star in the upcoming thriller Painkillers.

Julie Gonzalo as Shelby Cummings

Most notably, Gonzalo starred in the Dallas reboot as Pamela Barnes. She’s also appeared in Grey’s Anatomy and Lucifer this year.
