Groupon's offering a slew of wedding deals this week (name-changing service for $15, anyone?), but for the first few days, no one had splurged on the most essential item: the "custom-fitted" $174 wedding dress from a place called Memorial Wedding, which notably offers gowns at David's Bridal prices, and will make a Barbie version of you in your wedding dress for an additional charge.
Would anyone buy a wedding dress on Groupon? I wondered, refreshing the page frequently in search of an update. Today, my question has been answered with a resounding yes. "1 bought. The deal is on!"
