Who's Coming For Christmas? by Doc Mustard
Who's Coming For Christmas? is a humorous adult video containing explicit lyrics and is Doc Mustard's reaction to the annual obscene December orgy of consumerism
I was born on 23rd March 1954 near Matlock in Derbyshire, UK. I was brought up in a pub called The Horse Shoe. I ain't superstitious but the song "Born under a Bad Sign" springs to mind. I was sent away to boarding school in Gt Crosby, Liverpoool in 1963 and left of my own accord in 1970, either that or be expelled for smoking pot, and yes, I did inhale. I left Matlock in 1973 as a bass player in a band (formerly The Doughnut Band) and moved to Coventry. Top Coventry bands I played in were as bassist in "Hot Snacks" & keyboards in "The Ring", not forgetting "Doc Mustard & the Cobalt Kids" as the Doc himself. I left Coventry in 1991 and headed for Cornwall, UK. As a busker I was frowned upon by a host of snooty arty-farty hoytie-toyties and occasionally heckled by 'care in the community' psychos but the smiles I get from children and old folks alike sure make up for it. I do write songs which are naturally based on my experiences and perception of life. I perform mainly cover songs under the name of The Rhythm Balladeer or Doc Mustard unplugged when singing my favourites or own compositions. I've got a video deejaying show called 'WASTED PLANET' where I get to project classy live performances from mainly guitar guru bands. I've now got a new website at www.prizoner.co.uk
