We were told in 1999 (freshman year public school) that sex would “stain” you. This was then demonstrated by giving us each an Oreo told to eat but not drink, and show our teeth to the class. I was stoked to get a surprise Oreo.

My husband and I were at a movie theater watching Deadpool. Some tweens ran in and asked us to be their parents if theater staff came in. I did the math in my head and technically we could have been young parents with kids their age.

Instead of boiling corn for corn on the cob (which takes forever and dirties a pot) microwave them. Shuck the corn, butter the corn, wrap the corn in wax paper, microwave for 6 minutes, and boom delicious corn on the cob ready to eat with only the butter knife to wipe off.
