I heard there’s an open position at BuzzFeed.
And decided I should do what any normal person would.
Before we begin, there are a few things you should know about me.

And it's OK because it led me here.
So why do I want to work at Buzzfeed?
Buzzfeed has changed the way we share and absorb information.
It’s my one stop shop for news and entertainment. Like when I need to learn about what’s happening in the world.
Or when I need a comparison to Mean Girls to understand the government shutdown.
Sometimes, I turn to BuzzFeed for more serious reasons. Like finding my husband.
Now it's my time to contribute.
I have many strengths that would make me successful at BuzzFeed. First of all, I’m very polite and have great communication skills.
And I’m not afraid to ask the tough questions.
But no, I’m not perfect. Just like everyone else, I have my weaknesses.
With work experience in branding and marketing, I have a comprehensive understanding of the communications field.
Business strategy is my forte.
I'm basically a social media guru.
And am constantly coming up with new methods to increase our site's SEO.
Prior to my current role as a Marketing Associate, I was an Executive Assistant, which required wearing many hats.
It hasn't been all peaches and cream. I've faced some challenges throughout my career.
But I remain composed during stressful situations.
There have also been times when things didn't go the way I planned.
But I always think back to my mom's advice:
So why am I right for this position? As an avid BuzzFeed reader, I know your audience.
My interest in pop-culture is more than a hobby.
And I have some great ideas when it comes to content for the site.
I know we would make a good team.
