Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are expecting their first child.
The two met on the season finale of Saturday Night Live in 2011. The couple started dating six months later and got engaged in January. They have not yet set a date for their wedding.
This will be the second marriage for both actors. Sudeikis' marriage to Pitch Perfect screenwriter Kay Cannon ended in 2010. Wilde's divorce from documentarian Tao Ruspoli was finalized the following year.
A source close to the couple tells People that the two are "incredibly happy" and "excited to welcome a new member into their family."
In an April cover interview with Marie Claire, Wilde said that it took Sudeikis six months after their first meeting to ask her out:
"I thought, He won't be interested in me; I'm not a contender. He was so cool, so funny — I was such a fan of his and had always fancied his speed and his intelligence. He's a brilliant actor with a brain like lightning."

When asked about children, in Wilde's Marie Claire interview, she replied that she'd like to have three:
"We've discussed all our ideals and hopes. I can't wait for children. I'm open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party. I am not trying to have kids now — there's no strict plan for anything in my life. What happens, happens. He's so good with kids... I've never before experienced looking at someone and thinking, That's who I want to raise a child with."
In an October cover story on Wilde in Allure, writer David DeNicolo wrote:
"Ask Wilde anything about Sudeikis, and you'd better prepare to settle in for a while as she explains how handsome he is, how smart he is, how funny he is, how much she likes his midwestern personality, how much she likes his family, how she can't wait to have kids with him," reports writer David DeNicolo.
Wilde was also quoted saying "Jason is fantastic with children."

Jason Sudeikis also spoke highly of Wilde. In an August issue of Maxim, he said about his fiancée:
You know, being beautiful is actually only like fifth or sixth of the things that are amazing about her. She's really hilarious. And she loves basketball!
