This game, developed by Giant Squid, takes the player on a journey through a rich, underwater world. Giant Squid was formed by former Journey art director, Matt Nava. As such, it can feasibly be seen as a spiritual successor to the PS3 sleeper hit.

Abzu will be released in 2016 for the Playstation 4.

No Man's Sky debuted last year at VGX, but Hello Games brought some incredible gameplay footage to E3. This game promises to take the player to unique worlds and planets. Frankly, they had me at space dinosaurs.

No Man's Sky will be released for Playstation 4 first, with other consoles to follow.

Nintendo's Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire may not be the most graphically exciting game to include, but this cute, live-action trailer showcases some new features from the long-awaited reboot. Mirror's Edge 2, developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE), is the long anticipated sequel to the 2007 parkour hit. Though announced at last year's E3, DICE has shown their hand with this informative development/gameplay trailer. It was worth the wait just to see Faith kick some serious tail.

Mirror's Edge 2 will be released for the PC, Mac, XBox One and Playstation 4.

Assassin's Creed Unity is the next installment in the wildly successful Ubisoft franchise. This next-gen game, which takes place during the French Revolution, focuses on a four player co-op mode. The game looks breathtakingly beautiful and the multiplayer looks fun, though I find the identical appearance of the assassins to be off-putting. Hopefully there will be a character customization feature.

Assassin's Creed Unity will be released on October 28 for the PC, XBox One and Playstation 4.

    Rise of the Tomb Raider

This is what my heart has always desired, and it finally exists. An open world Legend of Zelda game. Little is known about the newest edition to the Nintendo staple yet, but there's little doubt in my mind that it's going to be a dream come true.

The Legend of Zelda Wii U (title pending, maybe?) will be released in 2015 for the Wii U.
