Amen. Everyone's like "why do you live there? Move somewhere else?" As if they don't realize the only reason they don't see roaches in hawaii is because their hotels spend a small fortune to keep them out.

Actually, it's not. Most people who actually live here or know anything about living here know that roaches are a FUN daily occurrence, and I wanted to share a product with my fellow islanders that helps me work around the problem.

It's hawaii. It's literally impossible to get rid of them in an old house such as mine, as they thrive in tropical rainforesty environments. Small price to pay for no winter ever and 24/7/365 beach access. I do miss making brownies and such though...

If you're making boxed macaroni(my macaroni of choice is Annie's), use cream cheese with a splash of milk instead of butter and/or milk alone to make cheese sauce. It sticks to the noodles well, and you don't end up with runny cheese sauce at the bottom of the pot.
