UPDATED — 6:19 p.m. ET:
During a June performance of J. Lo's hit "Acting Like That" at Chicago's B96 Summerbash, Iggy Azalea seemed to forget when she was supposed to start lip syncing.
Lopez gives the 24-year-old a look like, "WTF?" and Iggy appears to blame missing the cue on her ear piece, seeming to motion that she can't hear anything.
The Aussie briefly raps with the track, but eventually just abandons the whole thing, dancing on stage while the recording plays and J. Lo tries to save the song.
For what it's worth, J. Lo looked like she was doing her own share of (successful) lip syncing.
After the song ends, J. Lo laughs and tells the crowd, "If you want to hear her you'll have to buy the album."
This isn't Iggy's only recent slip-up while performing; feels like it was just yesterday we were watching her fall off the stage before the VMAs (then re-watching, and watching some more).
Can't win 'em all, I guess.
Iggy Azalea tweeted at BuzzFeed that she wasn't lip syncing, but that her mic was off. It's not yet clear why you can still hear her vocal track.
In a June Instagram post, she said she had "technical difficulties" but "still enjoyed the opportunity to stand on stage next to someone I've admired for a long time."
