The Massachusetts Republican Party delivered a birthday cake to Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren today — not for her, but for Occupy Wall Street, a movement whose first anniversary is today. They also made a Web video set to the tune of a child singing "Happy Birthday," linking Warren to Occupy.

The cake was delivered to Warren's campaign stop at a flower shop in Dorchester, and was apparently not eaten. The cake features an image of protesters wreaking havoc in the street the frosting letters refer to Warren as the "Matriarch of Mayhem":

Warren told the Daily Beast in November 2011 that "I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do" and "I support what they do."
