Florida State suspended quarterback Jameis Winston for half of FSU's upcoming game against Clemson after he stood on a table and screamed "fuck her right in the pussy," TMZ reported.
On Tuesday, Deadspin reported that the 20-year-old Heisman Trophy winner got up on a table in student union and shouted the obscenity, which is a popular internet meme.

The meme was originally invented by YouTube prankster John Cain, who filmed a video where “Fred” — an actor Cain hired — says “fuck her right in the pussy” during a fake local news broadcast.
Florida State's Athletic Director Stan Wilcox and Interim President Garrett Stokes released a statement on the suspension, saying Winston's behavior was offensive and vulgar:
As the university's most visible ambassadors, student-athletes at Florida State are expected to uphold at all times high standards of integrity and behavior that reflect well upon themselves, their families, coaches, teammates, the Department of Athletics and Florida State University. Student-athletes are expected to act in a way that reflects dignity and respect for others.
As a result of his comments yesterday, which were offensive and vulgar, Jameis Winston will undergo internal discipline and will be withheld from competition for the first half of the Clemson game.
The University and athletics department will have no further comment on the matter.
Winston was accused of sexual assault in December of last year, though no charges were ever filed.
Most recently, in April, he was convicted of stealing $32.17 worth of crabs legs from a local Publix. Winston completed 20 hours of community service.
