Emily Franco, a 21-year-old from New Zealand, found a bank card and transit card on the ground on Monday.
So she decided to post about them on a public Facebook page looking for some help.
Which, she quickly learned, was a terrible idea...
Franco told BuzzFeed that, as of Tuesday, people are still doing it.
Franco said she ended up turning the cards into the local metro station, which she thinks is sad because the owner will never know how famous their cards were.
Let this be an important lesson to everyone: Don't ever ask the internet for help ever.
