We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community, "What is the most disturbing scene to come out of nowhere in a non-horror movie?" and their responses were pure nightmare fuel. Here are just a few of the most disturbing scenes that came out of absolutely NOWHERE:

While down there, Graysmith thinks he hears footsteps on the floor above them, and asks the man if they are indeed alone, as the man had assured him they were when he arrived.

It is a scene that is reminiscent of any number of high-tension horror scenes, masterfully done in a film that was absolutely robbed during awards season that year."
