    Okay so we all have some horrific-but-kind-of-funny memory of watching an inappropriate movie with our parents.

    For example, my ENTIRE FAMILY went to see Watchmen in theaters (my twin sister and I were 17 and my younger brother was 15). The film has a pretty graphic sex scene with Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" playing over it and, right at the climax, my mother (who usually forced us to cover our eyes during sex scenes) turned to me and said LOUDLY, "Hey, isn't this the song from 'Shrek'?"

    Well, this week writer/editor Merrit K asked their followers, "What is the most mortifying film-going experience you've ever had with a parent?" The answers were equal parts humiliating and hilarious.
