    Sorry, made an unforgivable mistake in the first sentence... I meant to save Lorelai IS one of the best characters ever written, not that she is not one of the best characters ever written.

    Lorelai Gilmore is not one of the best characters EVER written. She raised Rory all on her own, and she did an amazing job. Emily and Richard were suffocating her in what may seem like a huge house on the outside, but for her living in it was holding her back. Her parents never let…
